I don't see any reference as to what will happen to the Israeli settlemenents in Judeah and Samaria.
My vision is ultimately a Confederation, along the Swiss style, of Israel and Jordan, with Cantons of the diverse Jewush and Arab populations,, tribes etc, with Jerusalem as the capital, similar to Washington DC, Canberra, Brazilia and others..
The first step would be the Cantonisation of Israel, including Judeah and Samaria..
The Saudi plan provides for only part of Judea and Samaria to be merged with Jordan and Gaza - not the lot. The area to be retained by The Hashemite Kingdom of Palestine and the area to be retained by Israel will have to be settled in negotiations.
As a guide you could look at the Trump Peace Map that allocated 30% of Judea and Samaria to Israel. This was agreed to by both then Prime Minister Netanyahu and his Deputy Benny Gantz. That would probably be Israel's starting point in any negotiations. The Israeli settlements all fall in that 30%.
This Saudi Plan to my mind is the best Plan issued by anyone, anywhere since 1967.

If Hamas was out of the picture, I’m sure many Palestinians would feel less intimidated and would jump at this opportunity for freedom from their current situation. I think Hamas has been holding them captive - not Israel.
I agree Debbi. Their captivity would end the day the Hashemite Kingdom of Palestine was born. The Plan promises they would become citizens of the new State and be issued passports to allow them to freely travel and even emigrate if they wanted to - just like we can do in Australia.
Significantly - I have been unable to find any comment from Hamas or the PLO rejecting the Saudi proposal since its release on 8 June. This indicates that they may have already agreed to the Saudi plan.
I would be very happy If you or any other readers can point me to any such comments from Hamas or the PLO that I may have overlooked..
